This paper explores the interconnections of individual blogs related to the case of Australian-born Guantanamo detainee David Hicks, examining that part of the Australian blogosphere concerned with news and politics. There is a strong and sustained engagement with this case by Australian political bloggers, but a lack of sustained coverage of the case by bloggers outside of Australia.
