Dubai: With just few days to go for the FNC elections, candidates have been rushing to get their voices heard. And many have embraced the tools of modern communication. Candidate Jamal Al Hai's website has proven to be very popular. Since the start of his campaign, the website has received more than 2,400 visits. Although Al Hai has used other means to promote his campaigns, he says the website has given him a chance to reach and interact with many people. Shaikha Al Mulla, an education ministry official, has employed e-mail, SMS and a website to promote her campaign alongside the more costly outdoor banners and newspaper advertisements. |
